Raku-Raku

The Raku-Raku section (how to cope with emotional panic) comprises individual ceramics and ceramic short films; namely series of ceramics whose pictures -when projected in succession- create a moving visual spectacle. Hence, the ancient arts of pottery, engraving and painting are combined with one of the latest art forms, cinematography. The first film of the Raku-Raku series (Muybridge's Horse) was uploaded on YouTube on March 16, 2020 and is free to watch.

NFT

In December 2021, commissioned by SIANTI Gallery – Ikastikos Kiklos, Angelos Spartalis and his collaborators complete the NFT “HELLO EARTH” based on the omonymous hand-painted animated film.

Ducks, beware

An installation by Angelos Spartalis on the wetland of Almyros in Agios Nikolaos, Crete. The work, a totemlike sign and twenty seven original sketches that have been scattered around the area, freely available to the public, have been installed on the wetland on Saturday April 3rd, 2021.

CARRÉ-CARRÉ

The series CARRÉ-CARRÉ (How to cope with emotional panic) by Angelos Spartalis includes hand-painted short films. The first film of the CARRÉ-CARRÉ series (The first kiss) was uploaded on YouTube on March 16, 2020 and is free to watch.
