SYNOPSIS He would like you to remember him. After a serious motorbike accident, a 37-year-old famous actor dies during surgery. Well, not exactly. There is a small amount of oxygen left in his brain – just enough for one more breath; he will use it to recall memories of a lifetime… He will tell you all about it, because he really wants you to remember him.
My memory is like playing cards that I shuffle as I please. But I do more than just shuffling; something more insidious! I take a pair of scissors and cut the cards in two, four, eight or more pieces, and from the pieces I make new cards. It’s like a dark piece surrounded by pieces full of light or the other way around which makes it totally different. Anyway, there are many ways to play cards, in fact way too many ways… Surely, some way or another, I will find the peace and happiness that I desperately long for. I have directed my memory like a movie. I’ve never lived.
